Yesterday and today we spent the day at home instead of cleaning ovens. As much as we dislike letting customers down, sometimes it is just not worth risking driving in 6 inches of snow. The consequences of having an accident would mean we would let down a lot more customers than 2 days worth. Not only that, but we have to ensure our drivers safety is paramount.
A number of our jobs today were located in High Wycombe and surrounding borders. Anyone who lives or has ever been to High Wycombe will know only too well just how much the whole town grinds to a halt just at the thought of a bit of snow.
Fortunately our customers were very understanding and we managed to accommodate 90% of them for another day.
